This was my grandparents in Greer's Ferry, AR

I remember it was always propped below the avocado green phone which hung on the side of the kitchen cabinet - that phone is still there with it's rotary dial. It was the only phone in the house.

When I was a kid in the mid to late 70s and throughout part of the 80s, my grandparents still had their party line.
