Shopworn is a 1932 American Pre-Code drama about a poor but beautiful young woman who works as a shop girl in a department store. She falls in love with a wealthy college student from a prominent family, but their romance is violently opposed by his snobbish mother. After they are forcibly separated, she rises to become a glamorous and successful actress, only for their paths to cross again years later.

The film is a classic rags-to-riches Pre-Code melodrama filled with social class conflict, ambition, and emotional intensity.

It stars Barbara Stanwyck as the ambitious shop girl, Regis Toomey as the college student, and Zasu Pitts in a supporting role.
