This is a powerful piece of spiritual art imported from the Santeria ~ Vodou ~ Curanderismo traditions of Mexico and beyond. It is an outstanding El Indio staff made by the elusive healer, Oscar Romero Fernandez. The staff features a life-sized Indian warrior head made from a special molded material and leather. It has been adorned with feathers, coyote fur and an obsidian spear at the top. The base consists of heavy wood. El Indio brings in the power and protection of The Ancestors as well as courage and strength. This staff measures approximately 31” in height with the head measuring 9” or so.
