I am unsure as to the exact pottery company that produced this blue nine hole puck shaped flower frog. However, I firmly believe it originated from one of the many thriving companies operating in Ohio during the 1920s-1930’s, the Art Deco era. My suspect is that this is either a Zanesville Pottery or Peters and Reed product; it is unmarked. The frog measures 1 1/8” in height and 3 1/4” diameter across the top. In good used condition with several smaller than pinhead size glaze flecks at two holes on top and some grinding flakes circling the base. I believe these latter flakes were caused when the bottom was ground to eliminate excess glaze at production. An excellent item ready for use to display your fresh cut spring flowers.  Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.

Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future. Thank you.
