Vintage 3-Piece Wooden Alto (Treble) Recorder in F
Tested Stable Scale and Standard A=440Hz
Designed for ensemble and solo performance, this intermediate-tier instrument utilizes a true English/Baroque fingering system paired with double lower holes for clean, accurate accidentals.
It has been fully play-tested and is tuned to standard modern concert pitch (A=440Hz). This allows it to integrate flawlessly into contemporary woodwind groups or play alongside modern pianos, guitars, and digital accompaniment tracks without tuning issues.
Acoustic & Performance Condition:
- Performance: It speaks with a clear, resonant, and warm wooden voice.
- Windway & Labium: The labium blade edge remains structurally sharp and intact, ensuring excellent tone generation and airflow focus.
- Joints: Structural 3-piece build featuring classic bulbous safety collars. The joints slide together smoothly and provide an excellent, airtight friction fit.
Cosmetic Condition:
This instrument is entirely structurally sound with absolutely zero cracks, splits, or wood rot. Cosmetically, it shows honest vintage character from handling over the years, including standard lacquer flaking/chipping on the beak and along the outer body edges. The reverse side features an authentic vintage paper factory label near the thumb hole.
A soft recorder case is provided (Not the original, this one is an Aulos pouch)
