This is a New Haven General Motors Electro Motive Division General Purpose (GP-9) Diesel Locomotive. Prototypically, it has 1750 Horsepower and Dynamic Brakes. This is actually a New Haven Shell on an original Erie Lackawanna Chassis. The New Haven was absorbed by the Penn central in 1969. It is standard DC. It would look great on any 1950's to 1970's layout.
