Renfrew of the Royal Mounted is a 1937 American Western adventure about a brave and upright officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police named Renfrew who is sent to investigate a series of murders and a gold smuggling operation in the rugged Canadian wilderness. Along the way, he teams up with a young woman and battles a gang of ruthless criminals while upholding law and order in the frontier.
The film is a fast-paced, low-budget adventure with plenty of action, outdoor scenery, and classic Mountie heroics.
It stars James Newill as Sergeant Renfrew, Carol Hughes, and William Royle.
