This is a fabulous huge panel of antique French heavy cotton cretonne textile in the most heavenly rose design and dating from the 19th Century. There is masses of  textile to incorporate into any number of  interiors projects. For example it could be made into 2 large, long curtains or 3 narrow, long curtains or ...... it just goes on.

The textile is of good weight (the panel weighs nearly 2.5 kg) and is in excellent antique condition with no holes. We have left it as we found it but it is crisp and clean and ready for use. The design is to die for. There is a positive floribunda of gorgeous roses in divine shades of pink and sage green on a brown background - just fabulous.

The panel has a raw edge to the top. The right hand edge is the selvedge and the left hand edge is trimmed with a fringed passementerie now worn with the passage of time. The bottom of the panel is hemmed.

The panel is 240 cm (94.5 inches) wide and is made up of 3 widths each of 80 cm (31.5 inches) not including seams.

The hem of the panel is not even. The panel measures 286 cm (9 ft 4.5 inches) long on the left hand side and 266 cm (8 ft 8.75 inches) on the right hand side.
