stiff card wrappers with decorative front board, inlaid portrait of an Eritrean woman, map endpapers,
minor soiling else very good.
An album celebrating the Italian possessions in Eritrea and Tigray. The images show views in Massaua,
Asmara, Axum, and elsewhere, as well as native groups, ethnographic studies, and one image of Italian
troops entering Axum. A few of the images bear the attribution “Foto Luce A. O. - per concessione ditta
Ballerini & Fratini - Firenze”.
