As you can see from the pictures, this is the definitive sealer and soft trim manual for your Ford sports car...........the famous THUNDERBIRD!! Given in two chapters, the 1956 and 1957 years, it does pertain to the 1955 T-Bird as well.

Note: These are the only changes from the 1955 to 1956 model years........all having to do with the hard body, not soft trim and sealers
  • The 1955 Thunderbird had a solid hardtop without portholes, while the 1956 model had portholes in the hardtops.
  • The 1955 Thunderbird had a 292 engine with 193 horsepower with a standard transmission and 198 with the automatic, while the 1956 model had a 312 engine with 215 horsepower.
  • The 1955 Thunderbird had different tail lights and the exhaust exits through holes in a bumper between the bumper and the trunk, while the 1956 model had exhausts that exited through the rear bumper.
  • The 1955 Thunderbird had no wind-wings and no vents in the front fenders, while the 1956 model had wind-wings and vents in the front fenders.

Very Good: The pages are all intact and not abused, but may be frayed at the edge and possibly greasy or dirty from use. The binding & cover are strong but with fraying and/or stains/marks on the cover.
