Echizen lacquerware by Minowa Ikkou (with original box)

A Kinrinji-style maki-e (gold lacquer) tea caddy.

Although it appears dark in the photos, it is actually a translucent brown lacquer finish, with a chidori (plover) maki-e design on the inside of the lid.

Although it has been stored for a long time, it shows almost no signs of use and is in excellent condition.
