This is a 2.5" x 3" Original and Vintage watercolor by the very important painter Pierre Cior, 1769-1840. The image is of a girl seated on a bench in a garden. Signed at lower left. Fine condition. Very well framed.

The Biography Follows:

Pierre-Charles CIOR (Paris 1769-1840) Miniature painter who exhibited at the Salon in Paris from 1796 to 1838 and was active from one end of Europe to the other. He was appointed miniature painter of the King of Spain and also worked at the court of Russia. He is represented in most major miniature collections.
