The first ever Kenworth model released by Drake Collectibles (part of The Drake Group) was a 1:50 scale replica of the Kenworth T908 prime mover. It was officially released in March 2010.
The debut run consisted of 1,000 truck-only models and was offered in four colors: Ice White, Gunmetal, Vintage Burgundy, and Mercury Silver. These proved to be incredibly popular, selling out rapidly and paving the way for the extensive line of Australian die-cast replicas you see today
