The Man Who Laughs is a 1928 American silent horror drama directed by Paul Leni. Now living as a traveling carnival performer known as "The Laughing Man," he falls in love with a blind girl named Dea, but his disfigured appearance and his connection to a long-buried royal secret put both their lives in danger.
