It is genuine!  Not a cheap fake with no battery!!

There are a lot of fakes of this item on ebay and elsewhere, there are many ways to check but a sure method is to check whether the battery bay is empty!  See the photo WITH a battery on this!

The fakes have an 'onboard battery' which is lower down at the back and the solar panel is just an imitation, it does nothing!  They usually also have poor alignment of the function names and strange looking fonts.  Some fakes are less obvious than others... anything being sent in a cardboard box is also fake as these originally came in a plastic blister pack.
