Welcome to the sale of this decorative antique mantlepiece statue.

Originating from the Art Deco period this statue represents the classical pose of an elegant lady seated with fawns. The figures are made of spelter with the fawns having a bronzed finish and the lady having been beautifully painted with a really nice floral pattern to her dress. The figures are seated in an interactive pose on a slab of polished slate.  The lady is not attached to the base and requires a couple of long thin bolts to secure her, however she sits fine when placed upon it. A really elegant decorative piece of Art Deco design that would look great on a mantlepiece or sideboard.

In good condition commensurate with its age and use. The is some wear to the painted finish on the female figure and she is not attached to the base. A few chips to the edge of the slate. The statue measures (in cm) 28 tall, 64 long and 16 deep.  It weighs 14kg

 I offer free delivery on many of our items, however delivery shown is for the UK mainland only. There will be a surcharge for some addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands and islands of Scotland. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed.
