This is an original page from the August 1888 National Police Gazette full page photo of World Featherweight Title Holder Boxer George Dixon. He was the first black athlete ever to hold a World Championship in any sport. Known as “Little Chocolate”, he has been ranked at the #1 ranked Featherweight ever. The magazine photo is in excellent shape for its age.
