KRYTOX™ GPL (GENERAL PURPOSE LUBRICANTS) SERIES – UNIVERSAL OILS AND GREASES

The oils and fats of Krytox™ GPL 10x or 20x series do not contain any additives. They are universal problem solvers and are suitable for almost all applications.

Krytox™ GPL 106 is a high temperature oil with outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. It consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE), a liquid and very inert fluoropolymer. 

Krytox™ GPL 106 is extremely temperature and pressure resistant. It is non-flammable and non-combustible, compatible with oxygen and resistant to aggressive chemicals. The chemically inert Krytox™ GPL 106 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is free of silicone and chlorine and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere. Krytox™ GPL 106 Compared to conventional lubricants, it impresses with its significantly longer service life, greater stability and greater reliability.

The fluorinated oils and fats of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.

Krytox™ GPL 106 is insoluble in conventional solvents. For the dilution, cleaning and removal of Krytox™ products special solvents are required.

For best results, it is recommended to apply a seal lubricant every 6 months.

USES AND BENEFITS

The area to be treated must be free of dirt and dry before application. 

Smallest amounts are enough. A lubricating effect is still present even after the lubricant has dried. 

Krytox™ remains a life long in place. For cleaning and removal of Krytox™ products special solvents are required.
