This beautiful Moorcroft Pottery mantel clock is designed in the lovely Violet pattern by the acclaimed ceramic artist Sally Tuffin. The clock features an elegant, gently flared rectangular form with a gently arched top. The pattern showcases a dense arrangement of stylized violet blooms and lush green leaves, rendered in a striking palette of deep purple, rich pink, cobalt blue, and golden-green, all set against Moorcroft's signature dark navy glaze.
Standing 15.5cm tall, this is a first quality piece that has been hand-signed to the reverse by J. Moorcroft, dating its production to 1996. The clock has some light glaze crazing, which is entirely normal for art pottery of this age and glaze type.
The clock mechanism is working at the time of listing, though it will be sent without a battery for safety during transit. Please note that any photos showing the wider range in a catalogue are for reference only, as the catalogue itself is not included.
