Condition is used with age-related wear. Original 1946 Illinois license plate made from Masonite/fiberboard material during the post-WWII steel shortage period. Features white painted numbers “803 370” on a maroon background with “Illinois 1946” across the bottom.

Plate shows staining, edge wear, and mounting-hole wear consistent with age. Numbers and lettering remain easily readable. Backside retains original fiberboard construction and finish.
