In 1974 Anna Maria Pacetti and Ernesto Canepa, in the premises of the former "Ceramiche Minime Fratelli Pacetti" in Corso Mazzini Albisola, founded the "Studio Ernan" factory for the production of artisanal and artistic ceramics, unique and multiple artist pieces. Among the ceramists who collaborate with the factory we remember, among others, Giovanni Dova. In 1975 the factory presented its production at the Florence Craft Fair. In the 1980s the company produced some ceramics designed by the architect Ugo La Pietra and hosted, on several occasions, the Japanese ceramist, painter and sculptor Keizo Morishita. In the 1980s/90s Walter Boj created some plates for the company in multiples numbered from 1 to 100. In 1992 he promoted the event "Ceramica 1992 ancient and new world" in which he exhibited some interesting works created by the owners. The factory also participates in all the editions of "Rassegna 2000" held in Albisola. At the end of the nineties the company opened some laboratories in Morocco. Source
