1902 First Edition: The Winning of Sarenne by Upton Sinclair (St. Clair Beall)

Published under the pseudonym St. Clair Beall, The Winning of Sarenne is an early work of Upton Sinclair.

Exterior: Rare Blue Cloth variant. The decorative pictorial onlay (cover picture) is in excellent condition with only minimal wear, retaining bright detail.
Spine & Back: Shows some light, honest wear consistent with age, but notably no fraying at the head or foot of the spine. Some darkening of spine and other spots are visible.
Interior: Includes the original tissue-guard over the frontispiece. Pages are generally clean and the binding remains secure. There is a spot inside front cover that looks like it has worn away the top layer of paper and on the opposite page there is a tiny hole. There is a stamp on front page of someone's initials. There is some foxing in back cover.  Please note, this is an antique book and you may find a spot or a bend of a corner or some other sign of age. I don't see anything major flipping through but keep in mind the age of the book. All 3 illustrations are present.
