Invasion U.S.A. is a 1952 American drama about a group of strangers in a New York City bar who suddenly witness the United States being invaded by a powerful foreign enemy. Through a series of dramatic scenes and newsreel-style footage, the film depicts the rapid collapse of American cities, the breakdown of society, and the horror of atomic attacks as the country fights for survival.
The film is a tense, semi-documentary style Cold War propaganda movie meant to warn Americans about the dangers of communism and military weakness.
