Bjorn Wiinblad LADY WITH BIRDS Red on White 10 ½” Sculpture c. 1985 (B)

 

Whimsical vintage Danish ceramic sculpture or candle holder by Bjorn Wiinblad (Denmark 1918-2006) c. 1985. Features a seated woman with songbirds on her lap and hands, signed Bjorn Wiinblad and dated 1985. The piece was most likely created with a dual purpose as sculpture and candle holder with a removable top hat for a candle (no longer included)

 

Measures approx 10 ½” high x 6” long x 5” wide

 

In Excellent condition, note three chips/breaks to the back of the flower petals on the base of her neck, otherwise free of nicks or fleabites with little wear, please see all photos
