This is the Minichamps (Paul's Model Art) 1:43 scale diecast metal model of the McLaren Mercedes MP4-18 test car as driven by Alexander Wurz in 2003. Reference number 530034399. Part of the official McLaren Edition 43 collection, number 55 in the series, limited to just 1,872 pieces worldwide. Produced under official McLaren Racing licence.
Condition
Pre-owned. The model is in very good condition — the silver and black West livery, decals and paint appear clean and intact with no chips or damage visible. All detail parts, including mirrors and front wing elements, appear present. The acrylic display case shows light surface marks consistent with age and storage but is structurally sound. The Real Car
The McLaren MP4-18 was developed for the 2003 Formula 1 season but never competed in a race. It was used exclusively in testing by Kimi Räikkönen, David Coulthard and Alexander Wurz. Wurz served as McLaren's test driver at the time, and the car featured the distinctive "Alex" branding on its West-liveried bodywork.
