Thomas Wilson (1663–1755) was an Anglican bishop and devotional writer best known for his long ministry as Bishop of Sodor and Man. Revered for his personal piety, pastoral care, and practical Christian teaching, Wilson became one of the most widely read Anglican devotional authors of the 18th and 19th centuries. His writings on Holy Communion and Christian living were especially popular among ordinary churchgoers and remained in print for generations through the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK).
