The Affinity AS is a Firestone-brand all-season touring tire designed for mainstream sedans and minivans, offering a balance of confident handling, a quiet ride, and long wear. It features a tread compound to resist uneven wear, noise-silencing grooves for a comfortable experience, and diagonal and lateral sipes to improve wet-weather traction. Firestone offers a 70,000 mile tread wear warranty with this model. The Affinity Touring was manufactured with the L. L. Carbon compound as well. This creates a long link throughout the tire on a molecular level that strengthens the tread area. In this manner, the tire becomes resistant to cracking and tearing and it slows the tread wear rate down.
