A gorgeous French fabric, c1950's -1960's from Provence!~ This is a typical Provencal fabric, small scale has been made for 2-300 years, beginning its life by simulating Indian small scale patterns, but brought the colors of Provence to them!~ Medium weight cotton, sturdy and gorgeous! Antique textiles carry stories. If you look closely, there are many clues of the lives that came before us, making them wonderful heirloom treasures to be cherished and passed down for generations. Not only do I feel so fortunate to share these antique works of art for use in our homes today, but this also supports eco-friendly practices by giving old materials a new life through upcycling and creative reuse.
MEASUREMENTS : This lovely fabric measures about 58 inches by 19 inches
CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. Please use the zoom feature to see exact condition. There is uneven fading on this piece! Please see photographs. No holes, very sturdy! Signs of time and use ~ reflected in the price ~
