Crafted to meet the race standards of the IJSBA and UIM Aqua Bike, this Pro-Tech CE Back Brace is certified to CE Level 2, doubling the level of impact protection and effectively halving the force hitting the body to below 9KN, compared to the 18KN threshold of Level 1 certification.
The outer exoskeleton shell system is crafted from high-density polypropylene plastic, it acts as a first layer of defence which ensures the initial force is deflected away, sparing you from the brunt of the impact. Meanwhile an internal dual foam construction, combines an EVA layer with a XPE foam backing that is reinforced with closed cell foam technology. These layers work in harmony through the compression and deformation of cell walls, the exoskeleton shell flexes and bends to seamlessly deflect and distribute energy, ensuring a resilient shield against impact on the water.
