This fabulous old dish was bought at an antique Bazaar in Istanbul about 50 years ago and was described as an Ottoman bowl.

It’s approximately 20cm diameter.

The colour looks like pewter and I can see areas of a coppery colour coming through so I think it would be fair to say it is probably copper.

The surface shows expected wear, oxidation, and signs of age, enhancing its antique character.
