Fire Maidens of Outer Space is a 1956 British low-budget sci-fi adventure about a team of astronauts who travel to Jupiter's 13th moon and discover a lost civilization of beautiful women living in an ancient city. They soon find themselves caught between romance and danger when a monstrous creature begins attacking the group.
The film is a classic cheesy 1950s space opera filled with rocket ships, ray guns, dancing fire maidens, and plenty of unintentional humor.
It stars Anthony Dexter as the heroic commander, Mara Lane as the beautiful fire maiden, and Paul Carpenter.
