Here is a really special old Fender FujiGen MIJ ’66 reissue Jaguar in three tone sunburst. It’s a grunge-era MIJ N-Serial, built between 1995-96 at the FujiGen factory. There are not many around from this period, most Fender Japan Jaguars are from the later Fender CIJ/MIJ era, built at either Dyna or Tokai Gakki. This old FujiGen warrior has a nicely aged three-tone sunburst alder body, male neck a very dark rosewood fingerboard. It also has a great looking original FujiGen-era red tort 3-ply pickguard. The fingerboard has a vintage 7.25 radius. Weight is 4.1kg. There is obviously playwear for such an old Jag with scuffing around the edges, dings & indents, and a couple paint chips. Please bear in mind this is an old Fender FujiGen warrior, it’s not a sterile Mexican Jag; it’s a great player and has been played! The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound, all circuits working fine. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. Complete with original period correct Fender branded soft case & tremolo arm.
