Hart; published by The Friends Of The San Francisco Public Library in 1969 in San Francisco, CA, USA; 4.75" x 7.25"; Limited Edition of 1000 copies; Printed by Andrew Hoyem & Robert Grabhorn; Hardcover with blue paper-bound boards and a printed paper title label, and with a plain custom paper dustjacket; Copy in Good condition and custom Dustjacket in Fair condition; With Minor / Moderate wear, to the copy, including some minor rubbing / bumping to the edges and corners of the boards, with a tiny dark mark in the bottom left area of the front board, and with some considerable dampstaining to the bottom half of the back board, and a small amount of very minor discoloration to bottom area of the back endpapers. The custom Dustjacket has more Substantial wear, including areas of darkening / discoloration, especially along the spine and edges of the wraps, and with a large area of dampstaining to the bottom half of the back of the wraps.  The plain custom Dustjacket has handwritten titles in ink on the spine and front cover of the wraps, and is from the collection of Joseph Francis Weiler, whose initials are also in ink in the bottom right corner of the front of the wraps. His signature and small bookplate are also at the bottom of the front paste-down inside of the copy. (Joseph Francis Weiler was a designer/typographer at the Marchbanks Press.)  This copy also includes laid in ephemera, consisting of (1) finely printed invitation from The Trustees and Director of the Boston Public Library to attend the third annual Maury A. Bromsen Lecture In Humanistic Bibliography, where the author of this listed book, Dr. James D. Hart, was to speak, and (2) a newspaper clipping of Jane Grabhorn's obituary.
