A lovely quality and very stylish Victorian sterling silver heart shaped trinket box, the lid features a heart shaped cartouche ( Vacant ) and highlighted by embossed fluted work  and a crimped boarder. 

The sides of the trinket box also has fine embossed fluted work leading to a crimped edge to the base.

The lid of the box fits precisely and closes and opens properly, it also has the lipped crimped edge to so that it can easily be opened with long finger nails.

It’s interior is polished sterling silver and beautifully polished , clean and very hygienic, no nasty dent, dints or heavy scratching only the lightest of marks commensurate of age.

The trinket box exterior is beautifully polished sterling silver, no dents of distortions, it really is in amazing condition, especially considering this trinket box is 142 years old.

A stunning heart shaped trinket box in wonderful condition, masterfully decorated with exquisite workmanship from this legendary Silversmith.

Condition

This Heart shaped trinket box is in excellent condition, free from any engraving or monograms with a vacant heart shaped cartouche,  free from any dents of damage whatsoever, its solid silver is beautifully polished, no nasty dents or scratching, may show some fine marks to the interior base and underside of the flat base, partially due to the nature of silver being highly polished and that the trinket box is 142 years of age, it will show some very light minor signs of wear commensurate with age, but nothing nasty and far better than most. 

A very beautiful forever gift.

Hallmarks are situated on the front exterior of the box and the inside of the lid 

all are clear and easily readable.
