Probably worked from a kit from a mail order house, this linen tablecloth, table topper, or luncheon-sized tablecloth has embroidered wheat stalks and cross stitch flowers done in primary colors. This combination of wheat and flowers was very popular in kitchen accessories at one time and shows up in linens and well as canister sets. A little over 29” by a little over 30.” No holes, tears, stains, or snags. The cloth has been hemmed by hand all around. It has been cleaned to remove accumulated dirt and staining from storage using a Clean People laundry sheet. It has not had chemical or sun treatment. It needs to be ironed, pressed, sized, starched, or steamed to your requirements.
