Condition
The heavy, cased amber glass body of the bottle is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites, keeping the internal filigree pristine. The clear glass stopper sits securely and displays beautifully; it features a small chip/fleabite on the lower edge of the ground glass peg base. This minor flaw is entirely hidden inside the neck when displayed and does not affect the exterior presentation. Please review all pictures for close-up details of the condition.
For your consideration is a beautiful mid-century art glass perfume bottle executed in the classic Venetian style. The teardrop-shaped body features an intricate, hand-blown zanfirico (latticino) core, encapsulating a tightly twisted filigree network of opaque cream glass canes layered with rich gold aventurine dust that catches the light beautifully. This detailed interior is heavily cased within a thick, solid amber glass exterior.
The bottle stands 5.5 inches tall and includes its original clear glass teardrop stopper. Please note the stopper's ground peg has a minor chip on the bottom edge, which remains completely hidden inside the neck during display, leaving the stunning visual silhouette completely unaffected. A sophisticated, classic addition to a mid-century vanity or art glass collection. Always review pictures for full, close-up details.
