Vintage industrial mechanical timer switch mechanism manufactured by Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse, New York. Model CF635.

This electromechanical timer assembly features a metal dial marked “Dial By Hand – Do Not Rotate” with adjustable interval pins and a geared internal movement powered by a synchronous motor. Units like this were commonly used in industrial or commercial settings to automatically control lighting, ventilation systems, pumps, and other timed electrical loads.

The piece is constructed primarily of aluminum and steel components with exposed gear train and contact stack. The internal mechanism, dial, and motor assembly appear intact. Exterior housing screws are missing and the unit has not been tested.

These older industrial control components are sought after by collectors, electricians, and restorers of vintage electrical equipment.
