In addition to its powerful control of visible and severe algae growth, Poolife AlgaeKill Extreme can also be used as a preventative algaecide to keep your pool crystal clear all season long.

Ingredients

Copper Ethanolamine Complex, Mixed (Mono CAS # 14215-52-2 and Tri CAS # 82027-59-6)*: 28.94%, Other Ingredients: 71.06%

*Metallic Copper Equivalent: 9.3%. This product contains 0.97 lbs of elemental copper per gallon.

Dosage

This product comes concentrated. Dilute it with at least nine parts of water before applying. Pour required amount of this product into a plastic watering can and fill with water. Maintaining continuous pool circulation, sprinkle solution around edge of the pool. Apply under sunny conditions for best results.

Visible Algae Growth:

Apply 3 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water.

Algae Prevention:

Apply 1.5 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water once every 2 weeks.

Initial Pool Start Up Companion Product:

Use Poolife Stain Stop applying 16 ounces per 10,000 gallons to prevent scale and stain formation.

Directions for Use

This product is compatible with all EPA registered sanitizers including chlorine, bromine, biguanide, salt water, ozone and mineral sanitized pools. Always maintain chlorine levels between 1-3 ppm. Ensure all pool equipment is working properly. Clean or backwash the filter following the manufacturer's directions.

Initial Application:

1. If visible algae is present, add 25 ounces per 25,000 gallons of water (2 ppm).
2. For clean pools, add 16 ounces per 25,000 gallons of water (2 ppm).
3. Pour directly into the water by distributing product along the edge of the pool.
4. Operate the pump continuously for 24 hours to allow product to distribute evenly and allow the filter to recover removed phosphate.
5. After 24 hours, if necessary, brush dead algae off pool surface. If algae is still present, repeat step 1.

Maintenance:

To prevent algae growth, add this product weekly or after heavy rain at the rate of 4 ounces per 25,000 gallons of water by pouring directly into the water along the edge of the pool. Maintain circulation by running the pump for at least 4 hours after application.

Note: Swimmers can re-enter the pool 15 minutes after application.
