Okay I have only had this watch and worn it a few times myself and really loved it.  It is an automatic that you don't have to worry about.  You can wear it to sleep and wake up and it's running.  I honestly can't say enough good things about this watch.  According to AI it was made in 1984 because the numbers on back of case starts with a 6 and 1984 was the 6 year they made them.  Do note that this watch is 40+ years old and has rubbed against some things.  It has minor cosmetic things you could polish it back to pretty much brand new if you want.  I cleaned it and that was incredibly gross.  It was noticeably lighter afterwards that is how much dead skin and mystery was in the bracelet.  If you ever buy old watches with metal bracelets that is the first thing you should do.  Take off the bracelet and let it soak in white vinegar and baking soda overnight and thank me later it feels so good wearing a clean watch.. I digress.   I'll hate to see it go but this is what I do.  The date is in farsi(?). Am not quite sure but it's quite surprising because the rest of the watch is in English so you'd expect but nope. This is a great watch for anyone who likes really well made watches.
