Up for sale is this A Hundred Grand Nationals by T. H. Bird 1937 for Horse Sports Enthusiasts. Published by Country Life LTD in London with Charles Scribner's Sons in New York in 1937. It measures approx. 10-1/4" X 7-1/2" X 1-1/8". 204 pages. Beatifully illustrated from contemporary Prints and Photographs (over 30 images). Great Book for Horse Sports History Enthusiatsts. The cover boards are in fair condition with age wear to the cover corners and edges, some fading & spots. The binding and pages are in very good condition - binding is strong and sturdy. All the pages are intact and in very good, for the age, condition with some age discoloration/yellowing. The spine is completely detached (there is an upper part of the spine with lettering at the end of the book between pages, so the buyer can restore the spine). Book is in Good Vintage Preowned Overall Condition with signs of use.
