This transporter is in fairly good condition. Still has some of the stickers. I did put batteries in it, and although the battery compartment was loose, I was able to test it and all of the buttons function properly and the sound and everything worked great. Keeping in mind that when these originally came out not every sound was the exact sound that you would hear according to the stickers so this one is just like the rest as to where sometimes you might not get the exact sound of the button that you push. One or two of the buttons did get stuck a few times probably could use a little oil but I don’t dare mess with these. I was able to get at least one of each different sound so I’m guessing all of the sounds are still included. Again, though keeping in mind that these originally never functioned perfectly, so this one doesn’t function perfectly, but does function very well. The battery compartment is very clean and shows no signs of any previous corrosion. The unit itself is fairly clean. I do not see any majorly broken pieces or rust of any kind. A few of the stickers are still on but many of the stickers are missing. Most of all the parts are missing as well. I’m assuming that the top turret gun is broken off. I really don’t know so please look at photos closely and judge for yourself on condition. The back door opens and closes and functions well and stays closed once closed. The wheels roll very well. Again everything functions good even though the battery compartment was fairly loose so I’m guessing it needs the lid to hold the battery better in place but I was able to get the unit to make all the sounds and functions of C-3PO and R2-D2 and imperial storm troopers as well as the laser. Really a neat unit and surprisingly still working after almost 50 years.
