Item Description:

PEANUTS METAL LUNCHBOX from King Seeley Thermos 1976. This lunchbox was the second of five metal Schultz comics Peanuts kits made by KST. This one is the red box with Linus pitching on the front panel and Peanuts and his young cadets marching on the back (pretty cute right?). Everyone had a favorite Peanuts character, and KST freelance artist Nick LoBianco (of Get Smart and Yellow Submarine fame) who liked to use vertical side panels - which he uses here to great affect. Nice had them all doing what you would expect on the box!

Condition: Lunchbox and Thermos are complete and correct. Box lithos are clean and glossy throughout main front and back and side panels - with only light rubbings. Light rim wear - with no corner dents or dimples. Metal hardware is nice and shiny. Small chip on end of handle. Inside is very clean - with no previous owner markings. Box in overall strong Excellent C-8 condition. Thermos decals are clean - in overall Excellent Plus C-8.5 condition - complete with original retail sticker.
