This is a genuine Gibson Burstbucker Pro (Type 1) humbucker, pulled from a Gibson Les Paul. It is a fantastic choice for those looking for a vintage-voiced pickup with a bit more "bite" and clarity than the standard Alnico 2 versions.
This particular unit features the Alnico V magnet, providing a punchier low-end and enhanced treble response that helps it cut through a mix beautifully.

• Model: Burstbucker Pro #1 (Neck)
• Magnet Type: Alnico 5 (marked "AL V")
• Output: Vintage-spec (typically winds between 7.4k – 7.8k)
• Wiring: Traditional braided two-conductor wire (braided shield is ground)
• Potted: Yes, wax-potted from the factory for high-gain stability and reduced microphonic feedback.
• Origin: Made in the USA (Wound by "SP" at the Gibson Pickup Shop).

The pickup is in excellent functional condition with plenty of lead wire remaining for a standard Les Paul or SG installation. Cosmetically, it shows some light, honest "relic" ageing on the baseplate as seen in the photos, which is typical for a used Gibson component.

The #1 wind is the lower-output version, making it the perfect partner for the neck position. It offers a "woody" and airy tone while the Alnico 5 magnet ensures it stays tight and articulate rather than becoming "muddy."

Will be packaged securely for transit. Please see photos for the exact condition and markings.
