Original 35mm Kodachrome color slides from Bogotá, Colombia, dated 1968. This attractive set captures historic colonial architecture and street scenes in Bogotá’s old city district, likely La Candelaria and the US Embassy along with other houses on the streets.

The slides include narrow cobblestone streets lined with traditional buildings, uniformed ceremonial guards standing outside an important government building, a lush colonial courtyard garden with arches and flowers, and residential neighborhood scenes with tiled roofs and steep stone streets.

These images provide an excellent visual record of Bogotá during the late 1960s and reflect the preserved Spanish colonial atmosphere of the city.
