Condition on both pieces is very good. This is a super cute set and would be adorable in a farmhouse/country style kitchen, or dining area.  Little pops of red would add a bright color to any decor. This is a Blue Sky Clayworks product, dated 2003 sold at Dillards, which are no more! Trivet measures a little over 6" square and can be used as a trivet, or hung on the wall, chicken measures a little over 6 1/2" tall and does have metal legs, and base. Would be so cute on top of a stack of vintage cookbooks in your kitchen or just sitting in your window.
