Product Description

Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM provides flexible protection from moisture ingress to a large range of different substrates.

Produced by Safeguard Europe Ltd

Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM is developed and produced by Safeguard Europe Ltd, the UK's prominent developer, manufacturer & supplier of damp-proofing and waterproofing materials to the construction industry.

Drybase Liquid-Applied Damp-Proof Membrane

High-strength damp-proof coating for a wide variety of applications.

Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM is a single-component two-coat paintable damp-proof coating that is easily applied to substrates by brush, roller, or spray. Once applied, it cures to form a flexible and elastic membrane that resists moisture and gases.

The extensively tested high-quality formulation allows for easy application to a wide range of materials in a large variety of different applications.

*Always read the datasheet for application instructions and limitations.

  • Easy-application paintable damp-proof barrier
  • For both horizontal and vertical surfaces
  • Fast 1-hour initial drying time
  • Excellent adhesive properties

Flexible Damp-Proofing for a Wide Variety of Applications

Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM provides a strong and flexible damp-proof coating that can be used in a wide variety of situations, including but not limited to:

  • Damp low-level walls (less than 100 mm above floor level) and floors
  • Floor/wall junctions
  • For use beneath floor screeds
  • Protecting embedded timber joists

High-Quality Formulation for Easy Application

The consistency of Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM during application is similar to a thick emulsion paint, allowing for a simple two-coat application to both horizontal and vertical surfaces with excellent adhesion and drip-resistance. It is a single-component material for immediate and easy application to clean and debris-free surfaces via brush, roller or spray. Each coat is usually touch-dry within one hour.

Extensively Tested for High Performance

Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM has been extensively tested in accordance with a large range of performance standards, including:

  • BS3177 - Determination of water vapour permeability for flexible sheet materials
  • BS8204 - Code of practice for polymer-modified wearing surfaces
  • BS903 - Determination of the permeability of rubber to gases
  • BS903 - Determination of tensile stress-strain properties
