Lot of two antique American animal traps — a matched pair from the Animal Trap Company / Oneida Victor era, both in honest rusty display condition.

Trap 1 — Oneida Victor Flat Spring Body Grip Trap: Stamped iron construction with round pan trigger marked "Oneida Victor," flat spring mechanism, trigger catch arm, and full oval link chain (~18–20") terminating in a round swivel ring. Trap body approximately 7" long, 4" tall when set.

Trap 2 — Animal Trap Co. "Stop Thief" Wire Trap: The distinctive square wire frame (~5") body-grip tunnel trap with triangular coil loop spring at the apex, bilateral pointed ground stake prongs for anchoring in a run or tunnel, and bait trigger arm. Documented in A.R. Harding's "Steel Traps" as manufactured by the Animal Trap Company of Lititz, PA — targeting weasel, mink, marten, and similar small fur-bearers.

Both traps show heavy honest surface rust/patina consistent with age and outdoor use. All structural components present on each — no broken or missing parts observed. Sold as a display and collector lot; functionality not tested or guaranteed.
