Sea Rapture – Offshore Big Game Fishing Rods

The Sea Rapture series offers a wide range of options for offshore big game fishing, featuring new blanks made of nanocarbon, significantly expanding anglers’ possibilities. The rods have been redesigned to balance two seemingly opposing requirements: a delicate approach when positioning the lure and powerful action once the fish is hooked.

The tuna model delivers impressive power. In mahi-mahi fishing, the rod’s operability allows for technically enticing even the wariest fish. Jigging models provide precise jig control and fingertip feel, with increased power for deeper water use. Portability is ensured with specialized joints while maintaining a smooth bend curve. Properly placed nanocarbon gives anglers greater confidence and control during the fight.

• Nanoalloy® Material and X-Carbonology Reinforcement
  All models use the highly reliable Nanoalloy® material throughout the blank, providing exceptional resilience and high reliability even when fishing for large fish. The butt section is reinforced with X-Carbonology, and diamond wraps are used as accents to highlight the rod’s strength.
• Reliable Lock Nuts and Butt Ends
  To prevent reel seat loosening during big game fishing, all models feature the LOGR/AN backstop mechanism. Spinning models STGS-66ML, 76ML, 76M, STJS-62ML, 62M+ use an uplock system, while STGS-78MH, 81H, 83H+ use a downlock system. The latter three models also feature BRC at the grip end.
• Portability
  Portability is an important specification of Sea Rapture rods. Jigging rods feature an offset handle with a detachable grip, while casting rods are two-piece designs of unequal lengths, keeping the pack length under 140 cm. This design frees anglers from the hassle of carrying heavy equipment.
