Mipa BC Basecoat Aerosol and 2K Clearcoat Kit

This listing is for colour-matched Mipa BC solvent basecoat aerosol together with a 2K clearcoat aerosol. The basecoat is mixed to the selected manufacturer colour code and colour name.

Basecoat Information
The basecoat provides the colour only and must be overcoated with clearcoat for gloss, durability and protection. Apply basecoat in light even coats and allow suitable flash-off before applying clearcoat.

2K Clearcoat Aerosol Activation
The 2K clearcoat aerosol is hardener activated. Activate the internal hardener using the plunger on the base of the can before use. Once activated, the clearcoat aerosol has an approximate 4 hour pot life and must be used within this time. It cannot be stored once activated.

How to Activate the 2K Clearcoat
1. Remove the button from the cap.
2. Place it onto the pin on the base of the can.
3. Press firmly to release the hardener.
4. Shake thoroughly for at least 2 to 3 minutes before use.

Important Application Notes
Always carry out a spray-out before use to confirm colour and finish. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease, silicone, wax and contaminants. Do not use the clearcoat after the pot life has expired.
