Description
Casio G-Shock DW-9200K “ICERC Dolphin & Whale” – 1998 Japan Model
A highly collectible vintage G-Shock from the ICERC (International Cetacean Education Research Center) series, known in Japan as “Irukuji”.
Released in 1998 for the 7th International Dolphin & Whale Conference, this model is one of the most iconic collaboration pieces in G-Shock history.
The DW-9200K features a distinctive translucent yellow resin case and strap, which has developed a warm vintage tone over time — a characteristic highly appreciated among collectors of early ICERC models.
Unlike many later G-Shock models, this piece is equipped with a stainless steel screw-back case, adding both durability and collectible value.
The caseback is engraved with the ICERC dolphin & whale motif and marked “Made in Japan,” confirming its origin.
Another highlight is the EL backlight, which displays a dolphin/whale graphic when illuminated — a signature feature of this series.
